Sam is so funny in the bath tub these days. He loves to splash the water with the palms of his hands. He has a little rubber ducky that he kisses (well, I like to say he's kissing it). He mouths everything. He still sits in his baby bathtub where it reclines.
He's starting to lean forward to grab the back edge so he can pull up to a standing position. Another thing - I really think he knows to smile when we're behind the camera. Almost every picture we take of him, he smiles. Just the other night, Mike and I fed Sam a little late. We were starving, but after Sam ate he started babbling. It was so cute; I think we sat there and listened to him for another 20 minutes. It was clear he was saying, "Hey, Da Da!"
Sam's eating schedule is still scheduled. He eats breakfast at 6:30am, lunch at 10:30am, snack bottle at 2:30pm and dinner at 6:3opm with us. The hardest time between feedings is from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all consist of a bottle and food. The 2:30pm is just a bottle. It must not fill him up as much, so by 6:00pm, he's chomping at the bit. We thought we might try to start little finger food snacks (like Gerber Apple Strawberry Puffs). He can pick them up and put them in his mouth, but he doesn't understand that he's supposed to actually eat it. We'll keep trying :)
